Typhoon CRM is a UK-based consultancy specialising in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions, primarily within the military, charitable, and not-for-profit sectors. We provide expert advice, implementation, and support services for Salesforce and non-Salesforce systems.

We do not host or operate CRM platforms on behalf of clients, nor do we maintain shared or multi-tenanted environments. Each client owns and operates their own dedicated Salesforce instance or CRM system. Our role is to help you plan, implement, or enhance your CRM infrastructure — not to manage your customer or service user data directly.

2. What Data We Collect

Typhoon CRM does not collect, store, or process any beneficiary or customer data on behalf of clients. We may collect basic business contact information in the course of our work, limited to:

  • Name
     
  • Organisation
     
  • Job title
     
  • Email address
     
  • Phone number
     

This information is used solely to manage our business relationships, project communications, and service delivery.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your contact details for the following purposes:

  • To respond to enquiries about our services
     
  • To manage project communications during active engagements
     
  • To send occasional updates relevant to our services (where permitted)
     

We do not use your information for marketing without your explicit consent, and we never sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

Any personal contact data we do collect is stored securely, with access restricted to authorised members of the Typhoon CRM team. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard this information.

We do not collect or retain any sensitive data or information relating to service users, clients' beneficiaries, or grant applicants.

5. Your Clients’ Data

Clients working with us on CRM projects are responsible for their own data protection obligations. Typhoon CRM does not host, process, or manage client data — we work within each client's own environment (e.g. Salesforce Org or standalone CRM system).

If we are assisting with the setup of a new Salesforce Org or data migration, this is done securely and in full consultation with the client. We ensure that all data remains within the client’s control at all times.

6. Legal Basis for Processing

Our lawful basis for collecting and using business contact data is legitimate interest – namely, to carry out our contractual obligations and deliver consultancy services.

7. Your Rights

As a business contact, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the data we hold about you
     
  • Ask us to correct or delete your information
     
  • Object to how we use your data
     
  • Withdraw consent (where relevant)
